image shows 3.5" floppy disk installers of master tracks pro 4 from 1993

Master Tracks Pro (1990) for windows
Master Tracks Pro for Macintosh was out in the 1980s, but this windows version was released in 1990
im assuming that the version number for mac/pc began where the atari versions left off, which i believe is : version 3.6
theres a version 3.94 demo below from summer 1991 and the 4.0+ version shown below seems to have been released in 1993
so the numbers must have iterated up from 3.94 to 4.0 between 1991,1992 + 1993, it seems that it may have started at version 3.7 or v3.8 on pc im guessing

Passport Master tracks (1987) was available first on the macintosh platform. (see article)

                     Master Tracks Pro 4.5

This version of Master Tracks Pro 4 is designed to run with the
Multimedia Extensions to Windows 3.0 or with the Windows 3.1 MIDI
drivers or with Passport's own MIDI drivers. If you have the Windows
Multimedia Extensions or Windows 3.1 you should not install the
Passport MIDI drivers, instead you can use any MIDI driver that is
installed with Windows 3.1 or the Multimedia extensions. If you do NOT
have Windows 3.1 or the Multimedia Extensions to Windows 3.0 you MUST
install the Passport MIDI drivers in order for Master Tracks Pro to run.

There are two cases where you might want to use Passport's MIDI
drivers even if you are running Windows 3.0 with Multimedia Extensions
or Windows 3.1. The first case if you want to use Passport's MIDI
Transport interface. The second case is if you want to connect a Miracle
Keyboard or a Yamaha TG-100 sound module directly to your computer's COM
port. In any of these cases you can install the Passport MIDI drivers
into the same directory where Pro 4 is installed. Then, to use the
Passport MIDI drivers instead of the Multimedia Extensions or Windows
3.1 drivers, simply run Windows from inside the Pro 4 directory. Be
aware that when you do this that the rest of the multimedia capabilities
of Windows (i.e. Wave Audio, etc.) will not function.  To restore full
multimedia capabilities you must exit Windows and re-run Windows from
any other directory that does not contain the Passport MIDI drivers.

Note: If you have a MusicQuest MQX style MIDI interface, and you want to
use its extended 32 MIDI channel or SMPTE syncing capabilities with
Windows 3.1 or the Multimedia Extensions then you should get the driver
that is available from MusicQuest.

The Setup program creates a Program Manager group called "Pro4"
and several Program Manager items (icons) for the Pro 4 executable
program and sample files.

Several sample music files are included with Pro 4. Some of the
files are authored and voiced according to authoring guidelines for
Multimedia PCs, where channels 1 through 10 are for Hi-End General
MIDI style sound modules, while channels 13 through 16 are for base-
level Adlib, SoundBlaster or MediaVision style FM synth cards. The
best way to get these files to sound good on your system is to play
them back through a correctly configured MIDI Mapper. You can do this
by selecting the MIDI Mapper as the output port in Master Tracks Pro's
MIDI Setup dialog. Alternativly, you can playback the base-level
channels directly to an Adlib sytle FM synth, by selecting the
corresponding output port in the MIDI Setup dialog and by soloing the
tracks that  are assigned to channels 13 through 16. MIDI Mapper
support is only available when running with the Multimedia Extensions
or Windows 3.1. Of course, if you have a General MIDI synth, such as
the Roland SC-55 Sound Canvas connected to a MIDI out port, then you
could solo all tracks that are assigned to channels 1 through 10 and
play them back directly to the General MIDI synth.

There are also several sample music files that are voiced for the
Miracle Keyboard. If you choose either the "Miracle Keyboard" or the
"Sample Music Files" option, Setup will install these files and create
Program Manager icons for them.

The other sample music files that are included are either voiced
for a Roland MT-32, CM-64 or LAPC style synth or are generic enough
to sound good on just about any synth or sound module. These files
are not intended for multimedia purposes and will not sound right
when played back through the MIDI Mapper.

Apparently the newest version (6.8.4) was available on GVOX website:
http://jasonwilliams400com.startlogic.com/snor/weeds/SoundFonts/Master_Tracks_Pro_v6.8.4.txt
Unfortunately, it was not archived. But maybe someone will have more luck than me searching for "t684w_full.exe".

this page contains a link to the 684 updater which your supposed to use after installing the 683 version
http://web.archive.org/web/20130505130505/http://www.gvox.com/gvox_downloads#dwnld_mtp

the installer for the demo works fine, but the updater, it wont run for me on windows 7 64bit im assuming it may run on 32bit OS... to be able to patch up to 684

it also installed the the demo into the wrong folder.. 32bit apps are supposed to go into Program Files (x86) folder not "Program Files" dir
