19" Steinberg SMP24 + SMPII (1987?) for use with PRO 24 the ATARI ST

You can upgrade the ROM of an smp 24 with a SMP II v2.0 rom and it can even run cubase audio 2.0 falcon. Personally i prefer the smp 24 with upgraded rom. The isa card is rare, never seen one.

I owned both the black and red versions, and infact the photo with the EPROM location on this page is mine. When I took that photo, I was in the process of posting the EPROM chip to someone else, who then copied the data from the chip, cloned it and then sent me it back along with a copy. He made a copy for himself to upgrade his MIDI unit. The chip had firmware 1.65 on it, making it compatible with Steinberg Cubase 2.0 etc on the Atari ST.
