an early video done with george morel's help:

Quote

In 1994, we were still building sequences on the ensoniq EPS-16 plus and two other Ensoniq ASR-10 samplers, then we used the EPS as the master to drive everything.

in 1995, we finally bought a pc and started using Cubase for IBM/pc. The pc had - wait for it - 1GB hard drive! LOL and cubase still did not have audio yet. So we used an 8-track ADAT for vocals + live instruments. we bought a sync box to hook up to the PC and used the ADAT to drive the music. -- richard payton

explaining the production of his "Bassline" track

i think the keyboard in front of him is the eps 16 plus? http://www.oldschooldaw.com/forums/index.php?topic=2131

i think the track he references is Souffles H
