I just bought a copy of Cubase VST Score 4 off ebay.

Complete, boxed and with registration docs still sealed.
The CD says "VST4.0 R1"

Since I have read on other forums the wrong info that VST 4 for the MAC does NOT use the old floppy copy protection system I want to confirm that instead it DOES come with a "master" floppy disk that must be used to authorise the hard drive install.
The installation routine writes onto the floppy.
This is what it says in the installation booklet.

I cannot test it because I do not have a MAC :D

Would be interesting to know if Steinberg has the same policy of replacing the floppy with a USB key on request in the same way as one can/could replace their  PC VST5 blue dongle for a USB elicencer.

The box says:
Absolute Minimum System Requirements
601/120 MHz Processor
32 MB RAM
256 K Second Level Cache
Mac OS System 7.6.1 or later.

However a note suggests that:
"...an Apple G3/300 MH, with 64 MB or more, would be very cool"
