The Delta 1010 ADAT Interface, companion to the Delta 1010 Recording System (click image for larger view)
Arcadia, Calif., May 22, 2000 -- In response to the demand for an ADAT-compatible Delta 1010, M Audio offers the Delta 1010-AI. The 1010-AI is a companion piece for the Delta 1010 which allows ADAT users access to the audio quality that made the Delta 1010 an instant success. The 1010-AI offers several modes of operation. First, in conjunction with the 1010’s PCI host card, it functions as an ADAT I/O interface for PC or Mac that operates at up to 24 bit 48kHz. Equally as impressive is the fact that the 1010-AI may be configured as a powerful front-end and monitoring system for ADATs -- the Delta 1010’s converters may be used to record and/or playback from your ADAT instead of using the stock ADAT converters. The Delta 1010-AI even supports 4 mixed modes which are combinations of signal routing between the PCI host card, 1010 external converter box, and an external ADAT. Features include:

• ADAT* I/O for PC, Mac, and NT operating up to a full 24 bit 48kHz.
• Record through and playback using premium 24 bit converters.
• Simultaneous ADAT recording and computer playback.
• Select between analog and ADAT optical for computer input.
• Select between computer out and ADAT in for routing to the D/A section.
• Select between computer out and analog in for ADAT input source.
• ADAT In to ADAT Out “Bypass” mode.

* ADAT is a registered trademark of Alesis.

Minimum System Requirements:
• Windows 95, 98 or NT • Pentium II 300MHz - (96kHz operation) Pentium 300 MMX - (48kHz or less)
• 128 MB of PC100 RAM - (96kHz operation) 64 MB of SDRAM - (48kHz or less)
• UDMA EIDE or SCSI HDD Macintosh: G4, G3 or G3 accelerator
