Offering eight inputs and two auxiliaries, the model 28 runs at high speed (3.75ips) and includes Dolby C noise reduction to ensure optimum quality from the cassete tape format. Along with the added flexibility of the new machine, the 28 can also provide MIDI control via the optional MTC1 interface, together with an improved tape transport and EQ controls.
