                 SEQUENCER PLUS PRO LATEST INFORMATION
                 =====================================

1.  INSTALLATION

To install  Sequencer Plus Pro  (SPPRO) to hard disk, insert diskette
into floppy Drive, then type "Install", followed by your target drive.
(Target drive should be a hard disk drive)

For example to install SPPRO to your C drive,

    INSTALL C:

2.  DEFAULT SETTING

The installation  program will read the BLASTER environment string to
determine the  Sound Blaster  card type and the  I/O address setting.
it will then copy the relevant TAPISB driver to subdirectory \VOYETRA
(the default).

Two batch files,  SP.BAT  and DRIVER.BAT are  provided to help you to
load  the TAPISB driver and run SPPRO.  You may use a  text editor to
edit SP.BAT and DRIVER.BAT to change the default.

SP.BAT     - A  batch file to  load TAPISB driver, then invoke SPPRO.
The driver will be removed when you quit from SPPRO.

DRIVER.BAT - A  batch file to install or  remove  TAPISB  driver.  To
remove driver, run DRIVER.BAT with the /REM option.

TAPI default to channel 16 for the drum channel, so as to comply with
General  Midi  Standard.  To change the  default drum channel, invoke
TAPISB driver with the switch:

/DCH:xx  (xx is any number from 1 to 16)

I wonder which standard they are talking about...
The General  Midi  Standard for MIDI drums has always been Channel 10 :)

yea i did a doubletake when i read that aswell! lol
i think it was also part of the sound blaster "MIDI KIT"
i cant remember if i got the disk with the original sound blaster pro in 1991
or if i got it from buying the midi kit to get the midi cables to attach to my
sound blaster gold when i bought it at end of summer 1996?
