After many unsuccessful attempts with iPC 10.5.6 and iDENEB 10.5.6, I have successfully installed iATKOS v7 (10.5.7) on Asus P5PE-VM. Thought I would share the news in case others are having similar problems.

My System:

-Asus P5PE (Intel 865G, Intel ICH5)
-nVidia 6600 GT VGA Graphics
-On-Board Marvell 88E8001
-On-Board ADI 1888 6-Channel AC'97 Audio
-Two IDE hard drives
-Two SATA hard drives
-Two IDE DVD Writers

I installed to one of the IDE hard drives.

As best I can remember the options I selected at installation were:

-iATKOS v7 Main System
-Chameleon v2
-/Extra directory
-DSDT
-AppleDecrypt
-Disabler
-EFI string for nVidia::DVI/VGA
-Intel SATA/IDE
-Voodoo HDA driver (This didn't end up working so I installed AppleAC97
-Marvell Yukon 88E8001
-Post-Install Actions

I had three problems after installation:

1. I could only boot successfully with the 'cpus=1' flag. I fixed this by setting the 'Execute Disable Function' to 'Enabled' in the bios.

2. Audio didn't work. I simply installed AppleAC97Audio.kext from my old Kalyway 10.5.2 installation, and presto it worked!

3. I can't change the resolution. Using "Graphics Mode" has not effect. I couldn't find a fix for this and decided it wasn't really a problem since it correctly found the max resolution of my tv (1920x1080x32) and runs flawlessly at that res.

I was able to upload to 10.5.8 directly from Software Update without any problems.
