chrisNova777:
i can confirm that i have the original Motu Midi Timepiece AV (non-usb) up and running
via mac serial cable into a geethree Stealth port on a 1.25ghz MDD running OSX TIGER 10.4.11.
and best of all, It also works in os9. which was totally not the case with the studio 128x which seemed to want to work but i never got any actual midi signals + lights happening from the sequencer.

audio midisetup recognized the MTPAV (non-usb) and its able to send + receive midi on all channels & 8 ports. apparently this setup will also work with a studio4 or studio5 opcode interface in 'MTP emulation mode' but that ive not tested yet. (to be continued...)

also confirmed working in Logic Pro 7,  midi ports show up in logic as "Port X (Stealth Serial Port)"
also confirmed midi working in Ableton Live 7&8, there it shows "Standard interface (port X)" but you can change this in AUDIO MIDI SETUP to show whatever you want to name it...

setup files here:

i used usb_fm_1.48.sit_.hqx

Wondering if anyone has tried getting it to work in Windows 10 64 bit.

chrisNova777:
i dont think thats possible as no 64bit driver was ever made by motu for the non-usb interfaces

see this post for which midi interfaces have 64bit drivrs
