opcode products were never supported on windows 98SE

this means that the drivers that WORK on the original win98 + win95 os ... apparently will not work properly on win98se! i thought my serial port was broken and was ready to toss this computer in the bin... ;)

so.. if u want to use opcode interfaces or software (yes both) you need to run original/vanilla version of win98... or any one of the win95 builds??

obviously this also applies to windows ME... because it came out after opcode had already closed down...
so you have to use any version of win95 or the very first windows 98 version only..  not SE!!!!

the drivers and the software both were never tested with windows 98SE
