According to the blog post by Terry Myerson, Windows 10 will be the only supported Windows platform for Kaby Lake (Intel’s next gen 14 nm processors), Snapdragon 820 (Qualcomm), and Carrizo (AMD).

Which means that the last cpus to support x86 windows 7/XP compatibility would be:
AMD : Kaveri" (2014)
Intel : Skylake (2015) or Broadwell (2014)
