Core 2 Duo T7300 – 2.00 GHz (4 MB L2, 800 MHz FSB)
Core 2 Duo T7250 – 2.00 GHz (2 MB L2, 800 MHz FSB)
Core 2 Duo T7200 – 2.00 GHz (4 MB L2, 667 MHz FSB)
Core 2 Duo T7100 – 1.80 GHz (2 MB L2, 800 MHz FSB)
Core 2 Duo T5600 – 1.83 GHz (2 MB L2, 667 MHz FSB) Family 6, Model 15, Stepping 6
Core 2 Duo T5550 – 1.83 GHz (2 MB L2, 667 MHz FSB, no VT)
Core 2 Duo T5500 – 1.66 GHz (2 MB L2, 667 MHz FSB, no VT)
Core 2 Duo T5470 – 1.60 GHz (2 MB L2, 800 MHz FSB, no VT) Family 6, Model 15, Stepping 13
Core 2 Duo T5450 – 1.66 GHz (2 MB L2, 667 MHz FSB, no VT)
Core 2 Duo T5300 – 1.73 GHz (2 MB L2, 533 MHz FSB, no VT)
Core 2 Duo T5270 – 1.40 GHz (2 MB L2, 800 MHz FSB, no VT)
Core 2 Duo T5250 – 1.50 GHz (2 MB L2, 667 MHz FSB, no VT)
Core 2 Duo T5200 – 1.60 GHz (2 MB L2, 533 MHz FSB, no VT)
Core 2 Duo L7500 – 1.60 GHz (4 MB L2, 800 MHz FSB) (low voltage)
Core 2 Duo L7400 – 1.50 GHz (4 MB L2, 667 MHz FSB) (low voltage)
Core 2 Duo L7300 – 1.40 GHz (4 MB L2, 800 MHz FSB) (low voltage)

Core 2 Duo U7700 – 1.33 GHz (2 MB L2, 533 MHz FSB) (ultra low voltage)
Core 2 Duo U7600 – 1.20 GHz (2 MB L2, 533 MHz FSB) (ultra low voltage)
Core 2 Duo U7500 – 1.06 GHz (2 MB L2, 533 MHz FSB) (ultra low voltage)

to swap out a T5600 to go to a T7600 would be a jump from 1.83ghz to 2.33ghz
this upgrade combined with an SSD provides for some great performance running osx tiger 10.4.11 and leopard 10.5.8 on an intel cpu also can run snow leopard and lion of course; these systems are limited to 3/4gb ram tho but i loved the combiend aesthetic of the TIGER OS with the white color of the imac. a great match for running cubase 4/5, Live 7/8 + Reason 4/5 + PT Mpowered (with an M-audio Interface) also great match for running Logic Pro 7.2+ https://www.macworld.com/article/1049028/logic.html https://support.apple.com/kb/DL369?locale=en_CA https://support.apple.com/kb/sp600?locale=en_CA

might be a better idea to buy an old mac Mini tho if the screen has been in use for the last 10+ years its probably close to death

again this is only worth it if u want to use 2005-2008 audio software for audio production
as it will run much faster on the intel cpu rather then on the ppc G4/G5
