Sample Vision is a DOS utility that manipulates sound samples stored in MIDI controlled samplers from the early 1990s for example Ensoniq EPS, Kurzweil K2000, etc. It is designed to use a MPU-401 compatible interface, however there is a work around that allows use of the standard sound blaster midi port by accessing the MIDIPORT utility on the first disk and typing "MIDIPORT MPU 1 1 5 20 20 330" before running Sample Vision.

WHOA!! I missed the FFT browser first time. I will most likely get this going again in a VM. Do a few youtubes.

in a VM? no point. unless hardware integration works somehow in a VM?

Unfortunately, I cannot get this to work with my Creative Vibra 16 / SB16 card at all. Card works fine and all, drivers installed both in DOS and win3.1. The Sample Vision program also launches and generally works, but will always get a interface error upon startup. No matter my settings.
