the driver for m-powered made the software see the onyx 1620i as a "profire 2626" interface
has anyone just tried installing the driver for the profire2626 and launching m-powered 8?
if you want to give it a shot then the m-powered 8 intsaller can be downloaded here: http://secure.digidesign.com/services/avid/kb/downloads.cfm?digiArticleId=43372
