The first of Roland's eagerly awaited digital mixers, the VM3100 is an obvious spin-off from the mixer section of Roland's VS1680 digital multitracker. But it still packs a lot of functionality into a tiny space -- and furthermore, the basic version is the cheapest digital mixer yet!

these mixers have an RbUS connection on the back i think
to connect to an RPC-1 host card PCI; ok its not RPC-1 its proprietary RMDBII

A 25-pin RMDB II cable connects the VM-3100Pro to the DIF-AT. (The company stresses that only cable manufactured by Roland should be used, to prevent damage to the equipment.)
