see this is why i had that disabled before but people complained and wanted "control" over their own posts -- so he must have deleted his own post.

The password has been set by the developer.
The password is sent to the buyer after purchase only.
No one has bought these plugins for a long time, so you will never know the password.

Hi Chris! I have been trying to download this old VST pack, but it asks me a password to be unzipped. Do you know which one it could be?

https://www.kvraudio.com/a-febmar00.php
the earliest page from kvr's news archive makes reference to steinbergs lm-4 aswell as the DX-100 by S&C Develop

also mentions another app by them called S&C Developments MonoPoly
which might be a very early vst emulation of the korg monopoly?

i guess kvr at some point dumped its old content
http://web.archive.org/web/20071022074935/https://www.kvraudio.com/banks.php
this page seems alot more comprehensive than its modern equivelent (https://www.kvraudio.com/banks.php)

http://web.archive.org/web/20041207094647/http://membres.lycos.fr/scdevelop/tools.htm
it looks like S&C was a french company focused on developing apps for Cubase on Windows Pentium Platform

File format that plays the best is 44.1k 16 although I have loaded 32-bit floating. MONO / STEREO is irrelevant. 24-bit are not compatible. Either it wont allow you to load it or it will be noise. Also, I think I have found a workaround for the last remaining problem or "bug" I have discovered, which is an audio cutout symptom in the L, R, or both channels. This occurs seemingly randomly, among files with identical format (44.1k / 16-bit). Simply add "some" length (I don't have a number yet - I lengthened a sample to 15 seconds by inserting silence with Audacity which totally solved the problem.).

TOTALLY UP AND RUNNING NOW

Still refining my process in preparation for a video.

Well this is what I did in a little over a weeks time learning. It does what it's supposed to. The sound will cut off if I try to voice too many iterations of samples that are "too long". Other times with shorter samples I could not max it out. 44.1K 16 bit works for sure. Others do too, including higher sample rates. A so called tutorial video is forthcoming.

wow its dated February 2000? i was living downtown toronto at the time having just moved into my first bachelor apartment; the buildings not even there anymore its been bulldozed and turned into a skyscraper hotel or  condo; 20 years.. damn

i was big on the whole radium scene back then im pretty sure i had both of those at the time; chatting on mIRC channels about it; long time ago; pre-9'/11 even

reminds me of VTT (Virtual Turn-Tables)
https://cubicgarden.com/2014/12/22/the-original-virtual-turntables/

i learned to pitch mix music with that program
that and ReBirth from Propellerheads - both were revolutionary
