ive done my best here to put this together from information from alot of different sources some facts may be incorrect but for the most part ive thoroughly checked the dates + info as best as possible with sparse info available

There is also the 2009? Sonar VS edition which came with the Roland V-100 controller/recorder. It's basically a cut down version of Sonar 8. There is a update for it in 2010 or something v1.04 which makes the controller and software good with win7. Otherwise it works perfectly in WinXP.
