Atari 1024 and Atari 1040 ST / STF / STE Gotek Bracket and fitting kit. Fits the slanted style drive bay (see photos).

This sale is ONLY for the bracket and fitting kit.

This kit allows you to fit a Gotek drive to your Atari ST computer with ease - and looks much better than trying to get a standard gotek case to fit inside! No modifications to your Atari or Atari ST case are needed.

Contents:
White plastic 3d printed bracket to fit Atari 1024 / 1040 / ST / STF / STE
(will NOT fit 520STe/SF314 straight style drives or Mega STE).
Longer jumper wires for LCD display to reach properly
Internal floppy power lead extension and tie wrap
Internal floppy data ribbon extension cable

The Gotek usb drive is NOT included.
We do sell them for extra though so please contact us if you need to order a drive also. Or do a web search for Simulant Shop and contact us there for your requirements.

Other photos are to show how this fits and looks when finished.

Important Notes:

1. When fitting make sure your power extension lead is plugged with the red wire into 5v (NOT 12v or it will damage your Gotek). Once happy secure with provided tie-wrap (see photo).

2. Add the data ribbon cable extension inverted, so there is a twist in the cable. Gotek drives have their plug the opposite way up to Atari floppy drives. If when testing the Gotek gives a "rib" error it just means you need to turn your data ribbon cable plug the other way around.

3. Depending on your Atari model, you may have to use a sharp knife or small drill bit to widen one of the bracket fitting holes which has the supporting "peg" underneath inside your Atari to get a perfect snug fit. We have made this hole a little small as they can vary and it means you can get a nice firm fit.
