Currently as of right now i own this old Gina24 alongside ESI Waveterminal 192x and Wami Rack 24.

It works great under windows 7 x64

Drivers are easy to install, not much trouble here.
Also, by the tests it is much more suitable for production than most USB interfaces.

I started with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2(usb), Begringer UPhoria(usb) and Emu 1616M(pci) and i find Gina24 great for faster music like Techno/House, high end is good enough, there is balance and also depth i must say i was suprised when i got it. 15$

The most important thing is, NO USB, no latency, no worry and no buffering. If you are a starter, pick up older PCI interfaces like Layla/Gina with w7 drivers and save yourself some trouble. I am definetly stepping up to Avid 192 or RME but i needed something to work on several systems w95/98/2000/xp and w7 to give me the headroom for figuring old tracks and software out. Need to know some history behind workflow and setups. I got the lot of older cards and i was ok with testing.

This is the converter shootout made with a loop, look it up, Gina24 much higher in ranks than Behringer/Scarlett:

Enjoy!

@chrisNova777 .. not sure if you are the siteop or just a GearGandolf, but I just happened by this place while beating my face on a dell gx260 for roughly 24hrs straight deploying a yamaha ds2416 under Win98SE & finally on XPSP3...

I terd'd myself when i saw a post day of little over a year ago regarding C-Mexx C-Console.... I'm already in love with this place... its like a '93 mobius - and time becomes a loop and time becomes a loop.

My interest far exceed my time unfortunately, but want to shout out some SERIOUS love to curators - & likely the other kindred spirits scraping wayback for 'THAT installer or DLL we wished we would have been more diligent in saving in a location that could be remembered'.

The registration/posting q's confirmed I had found an oasys of times past.

cheers brother
