How to connect the Casio MT-260 keyboard to a computer and why doesn't it work for my setup?
Is it an unsupported MIDI standard?

I have:
a generic USB to MIDI cable costing 9 EUR,
FL Studio,
Windows 7.

So far i can playback MIDI files on the keyboard.
ISSUE: I can NOT input any notes, it won't record anything!

Do I need a vintage computer for that?
