Bosca Ceoil works great in winXP :)

I'm looking for an app that has a sound sample wave editor, that also has a piano roll to test the sample at different speeds/pitches.

Hey Buddy-Bud, Nice to see you here. No it doesn't play that way it's basically for sample manipulation or generation. What are you looking for?

There's Bosca Ceoil you don't even need samples very simple good for testing chords & shit-

Does it play audio in the piano roll for you? it doesnt for me :(
I was hoping this was a wave generation/mod tool (it is) that can play samples on the piano roll... I'm after something like this, if you know of an app?

synths - 1980s / Re: Yamaha TG55 (1989) tone generator

The old discontinued software editor and librarian Emagic SoundDiver (attached to this message) can handle sys exc files and sound preset editing.  The SY55 and SY77 have a different architecture, but many of the presets and sample data of the SY55 can be found on the SY77, so I guess with a little work things could be made to exchange between them.

Not totally sure this will help, but you could look into SoundQuest's MidiQuest. I've done some interesting things with it.

I'm not sure you'll get something as straight forward as your question suggests. I've simply just not owned either Yamaha. I image you would need to tweak things some. My "guess" is that MidiQuest could help you wrap your head around it.

You'll probably want at least version 11 (pro). And it is probably best to know , as"absolutely" as possible, how to restore your devices original (or prior) configuration. That is probably Midiquest's best use; saving multiple total re-configurations.

Hello everybody
Is it possible to upload SYSEX sounds from the TG77 to TG55?
