if u have less then 4GB RAM.. maybe not
if u use mostly 32 bit plugins + programs .. probably not

So, if you have a system with 4GB OF RAM or less, and you are interested in running DOS + programs for the old Win9X operating systems, running Windows 7 in 32bit mode has an advantage! but if u have a i7 Computer with 16GB OF RAM obviously u wont be running 32 bit windows 7. both are good, and applicable for different situations!
