to reinstall snow leopard as the laptop came originally, you NEED the original DVDs that came with the laptop - came as a 2 DVD set; one for the OSX install and then another DVD for Applications install

must use a 8gb+ USB or a DL DVD to burn this

i reccommend that you dont use the files from this page:

as the files are dificult to deal with extracting + recompiling

once the torrent download completes, you need to have a Dual Layer DVD and the Toast app for mac and use toast to burn the iso file to the DL DVD.
