you probably need to de-convert from macbinary?
is it a .bin file?
you are going to have to be more specific than that..

ie: what computer? what os? what files?

this is the big issue for me. Di I have to download apps from within os9?
I have a bunch of files I want to open with the app that created them, but either the app is a simple text file or the files supposed to open with the app are one;y sen as simple text, if tried filetype conversion and its not that reliable
