hello + welcome to oldschooldaw! i created this site to educate not only myself but others who have the same goals as i do; this information is found elsewhere on the internet but not organized in the same fashion; i have tried to make this information more readable + "Digestable" + also "interactive" in that myself + others are welcome to add links + information to enrich the content for all those who read it. if you wish; i invite you to help me to add to this resource to make it as usefull + educational as possible. please join me in recording hard to find; obscure + rare "vintage" information that is otherwise discarded elsewhere by "upgrade-o-holics" too shortsighted to recognize the ways of the past!

the rear panel is different from the original sc-55 in that it supports serial connection to a host computer (an early to mid 1990s mac or pc)
software packages such as cubase + logic supported these devices directly as a MIDI interface
