32 inputs/32 outputs in M-powered with four(4) m-audio Delta 1010LT on WinXP32

There's a misbelief that old m-audio or echo cards were good. Echo did not support lower buffers than 32. Delta supports 16 but with awful noisy inputs. Waste of money, efforts + crappy 32bit xp with ram limitation. Plus use of old slow hw.... Just for some mild psychodelic effect of being in 00s, not for serious work.

ioreg thats your opinion, and thats fine, someone like myself could be using it for a "B" studio, second setup, this whole site has alot of tech that was superseded by better options, doesnt mean the information required to make them work is less valuable. i have a number of m-audio delta cards, they are still usable for recording purposes in the right hands

yeah I am more than happy using my ancient echo and motu stuff from my college days 25 years ago as a B studio/corner of the house setup when I need a break from the studio and want a different workflow
