hey guys ive just got back from having picked up my ATARI STE from being repaired / tuned up
ive got cubase running of an SD card acting as a hard drive now, so it boots quick.. well done

ive also got both my amigas working now, running Octamed 4,
slowly progressing to make everything functional.. i just about gave up but thanks to my locating a new
awesome computer tech whos been helping me fix my equipment things are starting to get back on track

this is an area of computing that i essentially skipped over i had asked my dad around age 9-10 to buy me an amiga or an atari but
he chose an ibm pc because he had business software that needed to run on DOS so i started out using Tandy 1000 Ibm PC clone

Great to hear! I am slowly getting myself back on the horse again after a long break (20 years....don't ask!).  Kept on buying and adjusting my studio setup over that time, but now finally using it again.  Just too much life shit in the way as is often the case though.  I've kept up with all the developments in music tech, but I am more drawn towards the older stuff as its less complicated and does everything anyway.

Nice, haven't used an Atari for years but fond memories of running Cubase on one in the early 2000s when I got bored of my PC. I'd like to get another! My Amiga is currently in storage - I have a bunch of Octamed tunes to finish...

Similarly I always wanted an Amiga/ST BITD but got talked into an IBM PC/XT by a well meaning relative.

I've just updated my ramblings here: http://www.oldschooldaw.com/forums/index.php/topic,7418.0.html
