I have a S-612 sampler, and very satisfied with it. It's a great 12-bits sampler which is really hands on, there is no menu diving involved as there are none. Everything is controlled directly by a physical button, knob or slider.

  • im into old samplers and comps:)
Some good pix on here,
I started out with a s2800 first which was great,
when they came down in price i got a s3200xl,
i used a program to edit it over SCSI called Millennium,
you can still get it from chicken systems!,it worked better
than Mesa etc.really good

im rocking an s5000,s1100 and s1000 now!.My s1000 is rusty as
it was left in a damp garage for 5 years,it still works perfect.
my favorite Akai sampler is S1100,the effect board is really nice
sounding it was used by FSOL for their lifeforms cd,you can hear it
all over it:)
