Cubase (Steinberg/Yamaha) / ASKNET goes bankrupt! Steinbergs Online shop has closed (Oct 2023)

Why is the Steinberg online shop currently unavailable? Our online shop is run on our behalf by a third party, Asknet Solutions AG. Unfortunately, Asknet has entered into self-administered insolvency, and consequently Steinberg has decided to engage a new trusted business partner to restore our online shop.4 days ago

so apparently Asknet has gone BANKRUPT! and the Steinberg shop for buying upgrades to licenses or new licenses, has closed!!! permanently! they are replacing it with another 3rd party im kind of upset as i thought there was a 50% off deal this fall, and id like to upgrade my license to PRO finally, which is making me kick myself for not just buying the full license long time ago and not have to worry about compatibility issues...

i have that serial dongle in the auction posted here in my studio, pretty sure mine works with all pc logic versions
ive always wanted to try it on a mac with some kind of adapter to see if it would work on mac but i dont think i ever found a way to try it... i just found a serial-usb adapter in a thrift store actually i should try to see if it wikll authorize logic 5 or 6 on mac probably not tho but now ill have to try lol

i can confirm that i was able to run Cubase Studio 5(64) on windows 10(64) with my Cubase Artist 10 license using the most up to date ELC downloaded from https://helpcenter.steinberg.de/hc/en-us/articles/360008841379-eLicenser-Control-Center-License-Management-Details-Downloads#current_elcc should be the same on both mac + pc
