ATX cases appropriate for DAW workstations
« on: September 20, 2014, 04:33:54 AM »
just to review some choices of cases that i feel are appropriate for daw workstations
to maximize drive cooling + have plenty of storage for samples + vsts
a configuration that i believe strongly in.. in which you have a dedicated fan blowing air on your drives at all times..
in these models.. this fan is located at the front of the case which blows air directly over the array of drives at the front of the case
below the cd/dvd drives.. all also feature bottom location for the psu which allows for better ventilation except the vortex which also lacks the top fan mounts aswell but gains an advantage of having an esata port
