max level of officially supported apps for windows 3.x
« on: December 12, 2014, 12:02:46 AM »
windows 3.x | win95 | win98se | win2k | winXP | Vista | Windows 7 | last 32bit versions | mac

windows 3.1 compatible apps | support for windows 3.11 started to dissappear around mid-1997
most options here are either Steinberg (red) or Emagic (blue)

many people forget that windows 3.x was still very much around after windows 95 hit the scene in late 1995, in fact i personally preferred windows 3.x up untill around 1997 when they came out with OSR2 release of win95 that made significant steps forward from the initial release. support for win3.x dwindled fast near the end of 1997 and focus really moved over to Windows 95 as more + more upgraded to win95.
