The M-SE1 is an 8-way multi-timbral sound module specifically for string ensembles and solo strings. It is based on the sound production of the JV-80 , but includes only specific string waveforms. When M-SE1 can be triggered by legato special strings Typical effects that are not possible with other JV Synthesizer. Therefore, there is the sound of the M-SE1 not as an expansion board. The M-SE1 can either be operated in Patch mode or Performance mode. In Patch mode, only one part is active in the Performance mode, all eight, the eighth part is intended for a rhythm set. For each part of the MIDI channel can be set. The M-SE1 has no USER patches, but can be changed via exclusive data in sound. A patch consists of up to four tones, each with a dynamic filter and amp, two LFOs and three envelopes, each 2 Tones are linked via 10 possible Structures.
