ivy bridge motherboards are the last to support XP drivers

for many Asus + Gigabyte motherboards it seems that IVY BRIDGE was the last officially supported on XP
there are many workarounds for XP to work on haswell 4th gen boards but for those of us that are looking for 100% official driver support Sandy (2nd gen) + Ivy (3rd gen) seem to be the last stop!

ivy bridge motherboards officially support a very wide range of operating systems compared to later
