I'm looking for a Rebirth download that would work on windows 10

Heyo, I'm currently trying to find a version of Rebirth that works with x64bit Windows 10.
I've tried three different installs and they all launch, but crash after a second.
I already have an iso file of the disc, so that's not my issue, I just need an installer that'll work properly on windows 10 64 bit.

it only works on 32bit operating systems
i have it working on windows 7-32bit
i think windows 10 can be installed with 32bit in which case it would work.
maybe run it on anothjer computer + network via midi/audio?

ahh ok so according to this u can force reason to run in 32bit mode,
instead of reinstalling your os... and then it will work.

you will have to use some type of compatibility for 32bit programs to get the installer to work?
i havent tried it.. check the blog post

ReBirth RB-338 2.0.1 works successfully on Windows 10 x64 with Reason 1.

1. Copy file rb20crk.dat to C:\rb20crk.dat (NoCD)
2. Copy folder ReBirth RB-338 to C:\Program Files (x86)\Propellerhead\ReBirth RB-338\ (program folder)
3. Copy file ReBirth RB-338 2.prf to C:\Windows\ReBirth RB-338 2.prf (empty settings file that will help you open the program for the first time)
4. Run file ReBirth RB-338.reg (for ReWire)

Portable Reaper 7.30 x64 successfully works with ReBirth RB-338 2.0.1 and Reason 1.0.1 on Windows 10 x64 via ReWire too.

! ReWire setting is disabled in portable Reaper by default. You need to open the reaper-install.ini file in the Reaper folder and enable ReWire (set rewire=1).

If you thinking about v2.0.1, well... it's the last release of Rebirth, before it became discontinued

its not that its so special - it just has all the things you need to use the roland soundsets from the roland instruments featured in rebirth. thereby allowing people to use the sounds without owning teh equipment which is expensive. theres many other ways around this obviously now adays but when rebirth came out it was a huge deal i remember using it in our high school parking lot on a car with a crazy soundsystem and the rush i got from seeing peoples reaction to what i was making was enough to solidify rebirth as legendary. i was using an old pentium II laptop i think. back in like 1998 or 1999.
