reason studios (propellerheads) lists the requirements for Reason 12 as requiring windows 10

Yes, it is not possible to install Reason12 on Windows 7. I tried different options, didn't work. I upgraded from version 10 to 11 during the grace period and got 12 automatically. But version 12 is a nightmare with a blurry interface and glitches. Right now I still have Windows 7 and Reason 11 on my work computer, but I prefer the older versions.

also requires macOS 10.13 or later (64-bit) on the mac side
macOS High Sierra (version 10.13), first released on September 25, 2017

thats because they keep designing these versions with newer tech platform in mind, introduces glitches with the old stuff because they tweak it for the new os'es probably
