Simon Millward wrote 10 books in all called "Fast Guide to Cubase xxx".
The very first one is "Fast Guide to Cubase" which covers the pre-VST versions on Atari, PC and Mac.
EAN ending in 775496. You can still find it easily on ebay uk for only a couple of pounds.
Many sellers also include free international shipping!

The first and second editions of "Fast Guide to Cubase VST" cover versions 3.5 to 3.7
The third edition moves on to VST5.
I will post a separate article shortly on the whole series.
While the first one, on pre-VST, is only about 140 pages, all the others are well over 400 pages and are in fact much more than just a "Fast Guide".
The last one Millward wrote is "Fast Guide to Cubase 6"
This series is strongly recommended!
