Reason Studios disabled online login for Record about a year or two ago.

Reason Studios also removed Codemeter authorization some time ago. Therefore, for all legacy products from Record to Reason 12.5.3, it is no longer possible to record a license via Ignition Key. If you have not written a Record license to a key before, you will never run Record again.

Also, installers and updates for some old products have been removed from the Reason Studios website (for example, I can no longer download Recycle 2.0).

i almost forgot about record completely since i own reason 6.5 license
i also have the ignition key that came with it, i havent tried it in awhile,
its always annoying when people make EOL changes to software that people think they "own"
but the functionality in record continues in the later versions of reason so its not a big deal really right?

Product life cycle. Well, I image it is only going to get worse. Eventually, you'll just be paying a monthly fee, to use software on the cloud. You're physical device will just be a network workstation. It won't actually have anything installed on it, other than the web client firmware. Probably won't even have you project files saved to it.

But hey, you'll have access to your specific web desktop, anywhere you have a screen. Gag Me!
