Open up certain applications with the SL connected and all instruments (and mixers etc. in some applications) within the session will be detected and mapped to logical areas of the SL, with their controls displayed clearly on the screens. All the user needs to do is press one button or click once with the mouse to switch between controlling different instruments. Currently supported applications are Reason 3 and Cubase SL/SX3. Click here to find out more.

he ReMOTE SL is a class-compliant MIDI device so it does not require its own drivers. It can use the MIDI drivers built in to Mac OSX (10.2.4 or higher) and Windows XP, XP X64, Vista and Vista X64.

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ReMOTEPS--novation-psu6-power-supply
apparently the remote sl uses a 12v 1250A power supply (center positive)

If wanting to control hardware MIDI devices (e.g. sound modules) with the ReMOTE SL then an external power supply (Novation PSU-6, not supplied) will need connecting first or batteries will need inserting. To insert batteries, turn the SL over, remove the battery cover and install 4 C-size batteries. Once done, the ReMOTE SL can be
connected using standard MIDI cables (not supplied) to and from the hardware device.
